How to Access the SD Card on the Sony PRS-600
The Sony PRS-600 is a digital book reader that supports e-books, PDFs, Microsoft Word, text, MP3 and other media formats. You can load books onto your PRS-600 in a variety of different ways, including downloads from Sony's online store and certain public libraries. You can also transfer files from your computer to the PRS-600, and vice versa, using an SD, SDHC or miniSD memory card.

Verify that your SD memory card is compatible with your Sony PRS-600 reader. Standard SD memory cards and SDHC cards with less than 16GB of storage space can be used with your PRS-600. You can also use a miniSD card in conjunction with an SD adapter.

Press the tab located on the top-right edge of the PRS-600 reader. This ejects the protective tab that is inserted into the PRS-600's SD slot.

Insert your SD memory card into the newly vacant SD card slot. Be sure to insert the card with the directional arrow pointing toward your PRS-600 reader.

Push the memory card into the slot until the device clicks into place.

Click the "Library" link in your Sony PRS-600's Source view, then click the "List View" icon. This displays all content on your PRS-600 in a single list. Drag any items that you wish to copy to the SD card to the "Memory Stick on Reader/SD Card on Reader" link in the Source view.

Click the "Reader" link in the Source view and choose "List View" to display all files saved on the SD card. Click and drag any items that you wish to copy to your PRS-600 device onto the "Library" link in the Source view.

Press the tab on the top-right edge of your reader to eject your SD memory card. Reinsert your SD slot protector so that no debris settles in your PRS-600's SD slot.
