How to Completely Block Some Friends From Facebook Chat
Chatting with friends in real-time is convenient with the Facebook chat client that pops up each time you log in to your Facebook account. Your friends can see when you're online and start a conversation with you. However, there may be times when you just don't feel like talking to everyone on your friends list. One option is to go offline, but this blocks everyone on your friends list from chatting with you. Alternatively, create a targeted block list in the Facebook chat client so that you appear offline to only certain friends and contacts.
