One such option is trackbacks, which send an alert each time other bloggers or website owners cite or link to a post. Disable trackbacks if you have no need for them.

Log in to your WordPress account to access the admin panel.

Click the "Discussions" tab in the sidebar on the left side of the admin panel page.

Uncheck the box next to "Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this post."

Go back to the "Discussions" tab and check the "Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this post" box if you want to turn Trackbacks back on.
