How to Install FTP on Fedora
Fedora Linux can be used to transfer files using several protocols dealing with the Internet, from Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP) to File Transfer Protocol (FTP). While Fedora Linux comes with an FTP client for accessing FTP servers, it cannot become a server itself using the pre-installed software. In order to use your Linux computer or server for FTP services, and share, upload or download files between users, you must download and install VSFTPD onto your computer.
