Manually adding your family, friends and co-workers to your Facebook profile can be time-consuming, especially if you already have their contact details stored in your email address book. Fortunately, Facebook offers a "Friend Finder" tool that can automatically import your contacts from Web-based email and instant-messaging services, such as Windows Live Mail and Yahoo! Mail. Alternatively, you can import contacts from Microsoft Outlook and other email clients by creating an address book file and uploading this to Facebook.
From a Web-Based Service

Step 1
Launch your Web browser and log into your Facebook account.

Click "Friends." Click "Find Friends." Select the Web-based email or instant messaging service with the contacts that you want to import.

Type your email address and password for the Web-based email or instant-messaging service that you want to import into the dialog boxes and click "Find Friends."
Step 4
Wait for Facebook to import all contacts from the email or instant-messaging provider. Click the check box beside each name that you want to add to your Facebook friends list.
From Outlook
Step 1
Open Microsoft Outlook from the desktop screen or "Start" menu on your computer. Click "File" and then "Import and Export." Select "Export to a File" and click "Next."
Step 2
Click the Outlook contacts folder that you want to import to Facebook. Click "Next." Type a file name into the dialog box and choose where to save the file on the computer. Click "Next." Click the check box next to the "Export" option and then click "Finish."
Step 3
Log into your Facebook account. Click "Friends" and then "Find Friends." Click "Other Tools" from the options list. Click the "Upload Contact File" link.
Step 4
Click "Browse" and navigate to the computer file that you exported from Outlook. This will end with a ".csv" file extension. Click "Upload Contacts." Wait for Facebook to import all contacts from the uploaded file. Click the check box beside each name that you want to add to your Facebook friends list.
