Adding a live WeatherBug weather widget to your site or blog provides your visitors with the latest weather updates in the city of your choice. Because WeatherBug manages and operates the largest global weather network, it offers a reliable weather widget that also looks clean and attractive on your site.

  • Go to the WeatherBug site (see the References section). Look in the top right for the content box labeled "Your Weather Just Got Better!" In this box, click the tab labeled "Web Widgets." Click on the "Learn More" button.

  • Use the drop-down menu to select a widget size. Click "Preview" to get a preview of the widget. Enter your email in the two text boxes provided to register. Type in the name or zip code for the location that you want the widget to display weather updates for and click "Search." From the drop-down menu, select the correct location. In the second drop-down menu, select the weather station where you want the updates to come from. Select whether to use Fahrenheit or Celsius. Select English or Spanish to use on the widget. Click the box to indicate that you agree to the Terms and Conditions. Click "Get code."

  • Highlight and copy the code that WeatherBug has created.

  • Paste the code into the HTML source code on your website or blog, save the page, then upload it to your server.
