Things You'll Need
- Old Virgin Mobile cell phone
- New Virgin Mobile cell phone
- Virgin Mobile account PIN
Remove the battery from your new Virgin Mobile cell phone.
Write down the DEC number. This is found underneath the battery on most cell phones.
Ensure that you know your Virgin Mobile account PIN. If you don't know it, you can retrieve it by going to Virgin Mobile's website and clicking "Forgot your password."
Call Virgin Mobile's customer support line, at 1-888-322-1122 and ask for a live adviser.
Tell the adviser that you want to swap phones, and when asked, give him the DEC number you wrote down earlier.
Follow the instructions the adviser gives you to transfer your minutes and activate service on your new phone.
Turn off your new phone and then it back on again to complete the transfer.
