Instructions

    • 1

Cut the top off a half-gallon milk carton using scissors or a craft knife. An adult should do this step.

    • 2

Decorate the outside of the milk carton with paint, markers, construction paper and other craft supplies like glitter, feathers or beads. Alternatively, cover the outside with cotton balls and add paper bunny ears to the front top edge.

    • 3

Punch a hole on opposite sides of the carton near the top edge with a hole punch.

    • 4

Twist or braid together a few chenille stems or strands of ribbon and tie the ends through the holes in your carton. This will be the basket handle.

    • 5

Put some Easter grass inside the carton and add candy on top, or use the basket for an Easter egg hunt.
