How to Put the Pads on a Swiffer WetJet

Save

The Swiffer WetJet is a floor cleaning system that eliminates the need for a bucket and mop. Instead, the lightweight WetJet system includes its own cleaning solution attached to the Swiffer's pole handle. The solution is sprayed onto the floor with the push of a button, and then wiped up with the cleaning pad attached to the base of the Swiffer. Once your floor is clean, simply remove the pad from the base, toss in the trash, and attach another pad when ready to clean again.

Things You'll Need

  • Swiffer WetJet refill pads
  • Remove the soiled pad from the bottom the Swiffer WetJet mop head and discard in the trash.

  • Remove a new Swiffer pad from the box and place it printed side up to the base of the Swiffer. The printed side has Velcro which holds it in place when pressed to the bottom of the mop head.

  • Clean your floors as usual. Put your WetJet away with a clean pad attached so it is ready to use the next time you need to clean your floors.

Tips & Warnings

  • If your pad is not staying in place, make sure the printed side is being placed against the mop head. If not, turn it over and put it in place again.
