The Extras Reward program is an incentive offered by the Visa company of credit and debit cards. The program rewards you for the qualifying purchases that you buy with your Visa credit or debit card, giving you points that can be redeemed on the Visa Extras Online Catalog. Any Visa debit card except prepaid or gift cards can be registered for the rewards program. Checking your point balance can be done with little difficulty.

Instructions

1. Register your Visa debit card. Any Visa debit or credit card (aside from pre-loaded or gift cards) can be registered on the Visa Extras website. On the left side-bar, look for the section labeled "Enroll/Activate Now" and input your card number in the space below. Follow the steps to complete enrollment of your card, which includes setting up a user ID and password to be able to log back on to manage your account.

2. Use your Visa debit or credit card to purchase items. Qualifying purchases include Internet and phone purchases, bill payments, purchases requiring you to sign for and small amount purchases not requiring a signature. Debit pin-code transactions or ATM transactions do not count as qualifying purchases.

3. Check your point balance. Log back on to the Visa Extras website and input your user ID and password that you set up earlier. Here you will be able to check your balance, as well as utilize your points to purchase items from the online catalog.
