How to Fold a Bedspread on a Table

Folding a bedspread on a table keeps you from bending over.

Your bedspread is usually thicker than the rest of your bedding and serves as its focal point. You can fold a bedspread on the floor but you have to bend over to do so. This method may also get your recently cleaned bedspread dirty. Another way to fold your bedspread is to do so on your kitchen table. With the bedspread on the table, you can keep it clean and fold it without bending over and possibly hurting your back.

Instructions

1. Lay the bedspread on the table so the sides and ends of the bedspread hang over the edges at equal lengths.

2. Fold the bedspread in half lengthwise. Slide the bedspread so it rests over the center of the table. Match the ends of the bedspread so the corners match.

3. Press out any wrinkles and air pockets with your hands. Start from the middle of the bedspread and work your way out.

4. Fold the length of the bedspread in half again. Side the bedspread so it rests over the center of the table. Match the ends of the bedspread so the corners match. Press out any wrinkles and air pockets.

5. Fold the length of the bedspread in half one last time. Match the ends of the bedspread and remove any remaining wrinkles and air pockets.
