How to Chill Fruit Juices
Fruits and vegetables are chock full of vitamins antioxidants. The United States Departments of Agriculture (USDA) and Health and Human Services (USHHS) recommend consuming nine servings of fruits or vegetables each day to maintain good health. One delicious way to meet this requirement is to consume fruit juices. You can purchase juice bottled, canned, refrigerated in cartons or as frozen concentrate. Once you have opened a container of juice or reconstituted frozen concentrate, it must be kept cold to remain fresh. Does this Spark an idea?

Close the container as tightly as possible, whether your juice is in a carton, bottle or can.

Place the container in the refrigerator or cooler.

Close the door of the refrigerator securely.

Tips & Warnings
If you are short on time and want to chill juice quickly, put the container into a bucket or cooler filled with ice. If your juice is in a can that cannot be securely resealed, you may want to transfer it to a glass bottle with a tight lid.
If your juice changes color, it may not be safe to consume. Fresh-pressed juices are especially perishable. If you decide to chill them, seal as much air out of the container as possible. Create a vacuum seal if at all possible.
