Egypt is located at the northeastern tip of Africa and there are many places for the millions of tourists who travel there to visit, including Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Sharm el-Sheikh, the Sinai Peninsula, Taba, the Valley of the Kings, Luxor and Aswan. Egypt's character is a mix of the modern and the ancient and an Egyptian travel brochure must cover both.
Things You'll Need
Include a large picture on the cover page of your brochure and above it, in bold print, add the name of the country. Avoid verbiage and use an eye-catching photo, the pyramids or King Tutankhamen's golden mask, for example.
Include more substantive information on the inner three pages. You have already enticed the reader to look at the brochure; now tell her why a trip to Egypt is worth the time.
Highlight tourist attractions in Egypt. Include Cairo, resort towns such as Sharm el-Sheikh, Mount Sinai and St. Catherine's Monastery, and ancient sites, including the pyramids at Giza, the Valley of the Kings, Tell el-Amarna, Luxor and Aswan.
Use upbeat and encouraging language when writing blurbs about these sites to get readers excited about visiting Egypt.
Place colorful photos of the sites around the text. You might include photos of the pyramids at sunset or a spread from the Khan al-Khalili bazaar in Cairo, with its bright and colorful souvenirs.
List name and contact information on the third page of the inside of the brochure. You can also include Egyptian vacation packages and cost.
Use another large picture an Egyptian site or artifact on the back page of your brochure. This way, whether the reader picks it up from the front or back, the destination is illustrated.
Tips & Warnings
