Instructions

  1. Separating Rice and Flour

    • 1

Put a plate underneath the sifter to catch the flour.

    • 2

Use the scoop to transfer the flour and rice mixture into the sifter, filling the sifter approximately halfway.

    • 3

Sift the mixture, allowing the flour to fall onto the plate. The procedure for sifting will vary by sifter, as some sifters will require a hand crank and others use a squeeze-activated lever. Flour will fall onto the plate and rice will remain in the sifter.

    • 4

Transfer the flour and rice into separate bowls. Repeat this process until the entire mixture has been separated.

    • 5

Rinse the rice to clean it of any remaining flour.

Tips & Warnings

  • There may still be flour residue remaining on the rice. Do not serve the rice to anyone with a gluten or wheat allergy or sensitivity.
