How Do I Download and Save YouTube Clips?

Downloading and saving a YouTube video to your computer stores the clip on your hard drive, allowing you to watch it any time -- even if you're not connected to the Internet. If you're a Firefox user, you can install a free plug-in, such as the Easy YouTube Video Downloader, which allows you to download and save clips directly from the video page to your computer. Free online video conversion tools, such as Zamzar and KeepVid, convert YouTube videos into MP3, FLV or WMV files -- typically, these tools only require that you paste the video's URL into the tool and then download a provided link.
