How to Find How You Rank for a Keyword
Search engines are a major source of traffic for most websites. Ranking high on keywords relevant to the content of your website is therefore crucial if you want to increase your readership. The concept of ranking in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) refers to the rank that search engines attribute to your website for a certain search query. For example, if your website is the 23rd result that Google displays when someone searches for "lemon cupcakes," your Google rank for "lemon cupcakes" is 23. You can check your website's ranking for a certain search query by using a free online tool.
