Instructions

    • 1

Cut off the tip of the caulk tube with a utility knife. Cut off the tip at a slight angle for an easier application.

    • 2

Twist the back plunger on the caulk gun so the notches are facing downward. The plunger is the long, metal bar that sticks out the back of the caulk gun and secures the caulk tube in place.

    • 3

Pull the back plunger all the way to the back of the caulk gun. The front end of the plunger will have a small, plastic or metal circle on it. The circle should be all the way to the rear of the caulk gun.

    • 4

Twist the back plunger around so the notches are facing upward. This will re-lock them in place with the trigger.

    • 5

Place caulk tube into the caulk gun. The tip will stick out the front of the gun while being held in place by the front guard.

    • 6

Squeeze the trigger until the circle on the back plungers enters into the rear end of the caulk tube. Squeeze one additional time to secure the tube in place. Shake the tube to test position. The tube should not move once it is locked in place. If the tube is secure, then the caulk gun is ready to use.
