How to Post a Badge on Facebook
Facebook badges (also called "fan boxes") allow you to display information about pages you support on your Facebook profile. You can also add links with graphics to any Facebook pages you have "liked" to let your friends know which of your activities and interests you really enjoy. Badges are also a free and effective way of attracting attention to organizations and charitable causes. Facebook has made the process of creating badges relatively simple, and you can create as many as you want.

1
Add the "My Stuff" application to your Facebook profile. Log into your Facebook account, go to facebook.com/apps/directory.php and search for "My Stuff." Once you're there, follow the on-screen instructions to add the application to your profile.
-
2
Click on "Applications" in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen (you will still need to be logged in to your profile to do this). Select "Edit Applications," choose "My Stuff" and then click on "Edit settings."
-
-
3
Go to the "Tabs" section under the My Stuff settings and click "Add." This will add the application box to your profile.
-
4
Open Facebook in a new browser. Go to the page you want to promote and click on "Promote Page," "Get a Fan Box," or "Add a Fan Box to your Site" (the first option will appear if you created the page, the second and third if you are promoting a page owned by another Facebook user).
-
5
Copy the code Facebook provides that will add the badge to your profile. Return to your Facebook profile and click on the new "My Stuff" tab that you've just added. Paste the code into the text box underneath "Add Code."
-
6
Click "Add to Profile" once you have pasted the code. This will display the badge in your "My Stuff" tab. To display it on your profile fully, and not just on the tab, click "Add to Profile" a second time when prompted. Check your profile to check the badge is properly displayed.
