How to Make Vegetable Juice for Dieting
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) recommends three to five servings of vegetables and fruits per day. People who drink 100 percent vegetable juice can easily reach their daily nutritional needs. Drinking fresh vegetable juice also promotes weight loss as it helps curb appetite, increase metabolism and burn fat quicker. Choose your favorite vegetables to blend and wash them. Good vegetables for this purpose include tomatoes, peppers and broccoli. Avoid corn, carrots, beets and onions as they are difficult to blend and contain more sugar than is usually recommended to people on a diet.

Cut your vegetables into smaller pieces for easier juicing. Don't remove the skin as it contains healthy nutrients. Some vegetables with the best health/dieting benefits include carrots, cucumbers, radishes, cauliflower, cabbage, cherry tomatoes and mushrooms. These vegetables are considered "free" foods as they have zero or minimal calories and are high in nutritional value.

Place all the vegetables in the blender. Turn the blender on high speed until the mixture is smooth, liquefied and not lumpy.

Add water if your vegetable juice is thicker than you would like it to be. Add a tablespoon of water at a time until your drink reaches your preferred consistency.
