How to Fold a Military T-Shirt
The key to a successful military folding mission is to practice precision. Consider that if even one cadet is marching out of rhythm, the entire squadron looks messy. The same is true when folding your T-shirt in military-style. Start with a wrinkle-free shirt and make each fold neat and straight as you work. Military-style folding not only keeps clothing neat in a drawer or travel bag, but it may also help you fit more clothing into the available space. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Lay the T-shirt on flat surface with the front facing up and the bottom of the shirt to your right.
-
2
Fold the bottom of the shirt up toward the neck and align the edges evenly.
-
-
3
Fold each sleeve toward the shirt's center, creating a crisp crease at each outer edge. The entire T-shirt should be in a neat rectangle when you're finished.
-
4
Divide the shirt into thirds visually. Bring the left third (the neck edge) over the center and fold that bundle over the last third. Keep all edges even. You will have one slim column with the fold on the left when finished.
-
5
Lift the bottom edge (the edge closest to you) over to meet the top edge, folding the column in half.
