Cubase Installation

Cubase 6 is a popular digital home recording software created by Steinberg Media Technologies. Designed for composers, musicians and songwriters, it allows you to easily create, record, mix, edit and produce music of all kinds. Cubase 6 comes with numerous synthesized musical instruments and effects that you can use to make music. You can install Cubase 6 in just a few minutes.

      Insert the Cubase 6 installation disk into your computer's DVD drive and wait for the setup screen to appear. If the screen doesn't appear after one minute, click "Start," "Computer" and double click on the DVD drive to launch the setup screen.

      Enter your personal information and activation code in this screen and click "OK." Cubase will now ask you to select a destination folder. The default folder is "C:\Program Files." Click "Browse" to select another folder or just click "Next" to install Cubase 6 to the default folder.

      Wait for Cubase 6 to install to your computer, then click "Next" to finalize the installation process. A shortcut to Cubase 6 will now be created on your desktop.

      Launch the program by double clicking on the Cubase 6 shortcut on your desktop. Alternatively, click "Start," "Programs," "Cubase" to launch it.
