DIY Baby Clothes Dividers
Babies grow out of their clothes incredibly fast, so keeping garments organized by size is important since the time frame they get to wear them is such a narrow window. One way to simplify the task is by using clothing organizers. These dividers separate clothes on hangers by size so all you have to do is look in the correct section for an outfit. This system allows you to see what your baby already has in the next size up so you can get what he needs. Making these organizers yourself saves money and allows you to customize the way you want.

1
Lay out newspaper on a floor or table to use as your workspace. Using an acrylic paint, paint the door hangers completely white to create a base coat. Paint one side and allow to dry for 10 to 15 minutes. Then flip over and paint the other side. Let dry for 10 to 15 minutes.

2
Paint the wooden door hangers your desired colors. Add decorative designs by painting on stripes, polka dots or a plaid pattern.

3
Allow the door hangers to dry for 10 to 15 minutes. Using your paintbrush, paint one size or size range on each door hanger, such as "3 Months" or "6-9 Months." These will designate which clothes will be hung behind it. Let the hangers dry for 10 minutes.

4
Cut a 1-foot-long piece of wide ribbon for each hanger. Poke one end of the ribbon through the door hanger hole and pull so the ends are of equal length.
-
5
Tie the ends of the ribbon into a loose bow directly onto the hanging rod in the closet.
