How to Record on Ustream
Ustream is a popular platform for life-streaming and live video streaming over the Internet. Ustream gives you access to a worldwide audience and has been used by celebrities, political candidates, and more than two million users to connect to other people online. Ustream also allows you to record your broadcasts and stores them on their server, as long as you follow a few simple steps. You must set up a free account before using Ustream.

Log in to Ustream (see Resources). If you are using an external camera, connect your webcam and microphone to your computer. Select "Go Live" from the top-right corner of the Ustream homepage.

Select which channel you would like to use from the drop-down menu and select "Broadcast." An "Adobe Flash Player Settings" window will pop-up requesting access to your camera and microphone. Select "Allow."

Choose your webcam from the "Video Source" drop=down menu if it is not already selected. Choose your microphone from the "Audio Source" drop-down menu. You will see your visual feed in the Preview window and audio levels will be displayed next to the "VU Meter." Click "Start Broadcast."

Click "Start Record" on the right side of your screen after you have begun broadcasting to record your video. When you have finished recording, select "Stop Record." Select "Save" from the recording menu and enter the title and description of your video.

Select "Manage Your Show" from your dashboard to find your video. Select "My Videos" from the menu that appears underneath. Your recorded videos will be listed on this page. You can select "Play," "Edit," "Create Highlight" or "Delete" from the menu next to each video.
