Proper Way to Update a RivaTuner

Nvidia provides free drivers on their website for their graphics cards on a daily basis. However, some computer users like to tweak their Nvidia drivers further to receive optimal performance with the help of RivaTuner, a free program designed solely for Nvidia graphics cards. Making sure RivaTuner is properly updated to the latest version will ensure you're getting the most out of the program. You can update RivaTuner the same way you would update any computer program.

Instructions

1. Navigate to the Guru3D website, the official home for RivaTuner.

2. Click "Downloads" at the top of the site.

3. Click "Search A File" on the right side of the website.

4. Type "RivaTuner" in the field provided. Select the RivaTuner build with the most recent date.

5. Click "Download Now." Save the file to an easy to remember location, such as your desktop.

6. Open the downloaded file to begin the update. RivaTuner automatically updates to the latest build.
