1
Leave your hair unwashed for a couple of days, and when you're ready to style it, work in some hair product, be it cream, mousse or a drop of gel.
-
2
Tease your hair using a round bristle brush. Start at the top of your head, where most of your focus should be, and move down to the layers below. Tease the bottom layers to a lesser extent than the top.

3
Gather your hair up and hold your hair very gently in one hand. Smooth down any frizzing or escaping hairs using the round bristle brush. Do this very carefully so as not to press down on the teased hair and lose volume. Tie the ponytail with an elastic band.

Finish the style with a bit of hair spray to hold everything in place. If your hair isn't high enough or doesn't have enough volume because of its natural texture, push the bump forward a bit and fasten the back with bobby pins to give it extra lift before spraying your hair.
