Having a Way2Save account can help you save extra money without noticing a big difference in your checking account.

Wachovia introduced the Way2Save savings account; the service transferred to Wells Fargo when they took over Wachovia in 2009. Way2Save is an easy way to save extra money without really noticing it. As of April 2011, each time you pay an online bill or use your debit card, $1 is transferred into a special Way2Save savings account. You can also set up monthly transfers if you want to deposit extra money. You must set up this service in advance, as money cannot be added otherwise other than the $1 for each transaction. You must have a bank account with Wells Fargo in order to link a Way2Save account with it. Checking your Way2Save balance is very simple.

A new user will be required to enter a Social Security number, bank account number and email address.
