How to Login to Windows 7 Without Password

With Windows 7, you need a user account to operate the computer. The user account remembers the preferences for each person who uses the computer. When you set up a user account, it is a good idea to set a password that people must enter to log in to the computer. This prevents unauthorized persons from accessing your computer. However, you can delete the password if you want.

  • Click the "Start" icon.

  • Click "Control Panel."

  • Click "User Accounts and Family Safety."

  • Click "Change Your Windows Password."

  • Click "Remove Your Password."

  • Enter your current password, then click "Remove Password." Next time you log in into your computer, you will not need to enter a password.
