Play the Powerball lottery for your chance at the grand prize.

The Powerball is an enticing game for individuals all over Oklahoma. This large drawing is nationwide and contains a weekly grand prize beginning at $20,000,000. Every drawing that goes by without a grand prize winner, the total amount increases. If you are interested in participating in the Wednesday and Saturday night drawing, there is a simple process to purchase your ticket and watch the results to determine your winnings.

Instructions

    • 1

Locate a lottery retailing in your area. Visit the "Oklahoma Lottery: Find a Lottery Retailer" website to find the closest lottery retailer to your home. Go to a registered lottery distribution location in your area and pick up a Powerball play card. The Powerball play card is a pink slip titled "Powerball" which contains five boxes of numbers 1 to 59 and a smaller section of boxes below each area containing the numbers 1 to 39.

    • 2

Select five numbers in the top box containing the numbers 1 to 59. These will be the standard drawing numbers. Fill in each bubble with a pen. Avoid marking outside of the bubbles as this may cause a machine error when reading the card.

    • 3

Select one number from the bottom box containing the numbers 1 to 39. This number will be the Powerball for the five numbers marked above. Fill in the bubble with a pen and avoid marking outside of the bubble.

    • 4

Fill in as many variations of numbers as you would like to play. Each of the five 1 to 59 sections is for a separate ticket, each costing $1. You can play up to five tickets per card. Select a Powerball number for each of the variations chosen.

    • 5

Mark in the power play box if you want to play all of your numbers with the power play option. Power play multiplies your winnings by the number drawn during the lottery drawing. The power play option costs $1 extra per ticket.

    • 6

Purchase the tickets by handing the card to a distributor at your chosen Oklahoma location and pay for the tickets.

    • 7

Watch the lottery on live television at 9:59 p.m. for the Powerball drawing. Write down all numbers drawn and compare to the numbers on your ticket to determine your winnings. If you are unable to watch the live drawing, results will be posted on the Oklahoma state lottery website approximately 30 minutes after the drawing.
