How to Find Photos in Flickr
Flickr is an online photo depository with a social component, which allows you to add other users as "Contacts," comment on their photos and marks ones you especially like as "Favorites." Flickr is equipped with a powerful search engine that allows you to search for images based on their geographical location, title and keywords the uploader has ascribed to them. You can locate a specific user's photos by searching only within his album.

1
Enter keywords into the "Search" box at the top, right corner of the Flickr homepage. Doing so pulls up images that include the keywords in a given image's title, description or within the list of "Tags" the uploader has ascribed to it.
-
2
Complete a Flickr "Advanced Search" to locate photos based on narrower parameters than a general search. Tick the box next to "Tags Only" if you only want to search for your keywords within "Tags" that a user has given an image. Click the arrow next to "Everyone's Uploads" to narrow down your search, such as to limit it to only specific contacts, friends or family. Enter a date range in the "Search by Date" field.

3
Search for photos based on their geographic location. Click any location on Flickr's "World Map" to view photos taken in or near a city or geographic region.
-
4
Browse a specific user's photos to find images she took. For example, if you've recently made a user's photos "favorites," explore the rest of her sets and collections to find other images you enjoy.
