How to Zoom on iBooks & iPads


The iBook is an application pre-installed on iPad devices. The iBook application allows you to download and read books on your iPad. The iPad is a touch-screen-enabled tablet computer manufactured and marketed by Apple Inc. When reading an iBook on your iPad device, you can zoom in on a book's text by using the touch-screen zoom feature on your iPad.

  • Tap the iBooks icon on your iPad device.

  • Select the book you want to read by tapping the book. The book will automatically open to its current page.

  • Touch anywhere on the iBook's page with two fingers.

  • Slide your fingers apart while continuing to touch the iBook's page. As you slide your fingers apart, your iPad will zoom in to the page.

  • Remove your fingers from the iPad's screen once you have reached the desired zoom level.
