How to Convert From UTC to Other Time Zones
UTC (Universal Time Coordinate) is a 24-value time system that serves as a standard for many electronic devices and software. Because UTC is calibrated to the the 0 degree longitude line, which runs through Greenwich, England, UTC was previously referred to as GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) in its early days. If you need to convert a UTC time and date to your time zone, there are several sites online that you may find helpful.

1
Convert UTC time to one of the U.S. time zones using the "Standard Tim Zone Conversions" chart on the U.S. Navy's website. After finding your UTC time in the chart's "UTC (GMT)" column, move across the row to one of the standard time columns. For example, if your UTC time is "02" and you wanted to convert the time to Eastern Standard, you move across the "02" row and stop beneath the "Eastern Standard" time column.
