How to Make a Pom-Pom Wand
Most little girls dream of being magical fairies or princesses and act out these fantasies during playtime with the help of their imaginations. Use your creativity to construct a toy for your little fairy or princess by making her a homemade pom-pom wand. She can use her wand to save the castle, transform a frog into a prince or maybe just change her spinach into ice cream.

1
Loosen the tension on your sewing machine all the way and lengthen the stitch length. Sew down the middle of the tulle lengthwise, leaving the tails of the thread long.
-
2
Knot the tails of thread at one end of the seam. Hold the tails at the other end of the seam with one hand while you gather the tulle along the thread with the other. Keep gathering the tulle until it is all bunched at the knotted end of the seam. Tie the tails of thread from the two ends of the seam together to hold the tulle gathered. Trim the tails of thread tightly against the knot.

Place a dot of hot glue at one end of the wooden dowel. Place the end of the ribbon in this dot of glue. Wrap the ribbon around the wooden dowel from one end to the other so the entire length of the dowel is covered in ribbon. Use another dot of hot glue to secure the ribbon to the other end of the wooden dowel. Cut off any excess ribbon. Make sure the ribbon ends are glued securely and lie flat against the dowel rod.

4
Attach the tulle pom pom to one end of the wooden dowel with a dot of hot glue.
-
5
Measure and cut three 18-inch-long pieces of ribbon. Tie the ribbons around the wooden dowel right beneath the tulle pom pom in a bow; secure the bow with a dot of hot glue. Leave the tails of the bow long.
