Viber doesn't support the ability to add contacts but simply analyzes the contact list on your mobile device list and marks the contacts that have Viber installed. You can add any contact you like, including an international contact, to your phone book, and if the number is registered with Viber, the contact will immediately appear on your Viber contact list.

Using the iPhone

Step 1

Tap the "Phone" icon on your iPhone's home screen.

Step 2

Tap the "Contacts" button, and then tap the "+" button to bring up the New Contact form.

Step 3

Tap the green "+" button next to "Add New Phone" and enter the international number associated with the Viber contact you wish to add. Tap the green "+" button next to any field you wish to populate and enter the relevant details. Tap the "Done" button to save the contact.

Using Android Devices

Step 1

Access your Android device's app drawer and tap the "People" or "Contacts" icon.

Step 2

Tap the "Add Contact" icon. The icon may be styled as a person's silhouette with a plus symbol or just a plus symbol, depending on your Android device.

Step 3

Tap the text box next to "Mobile" and enter the international number associated with the Viber contact you wish to add. Populate the rest of the fields with relevant contact information and tap "Save" to store the contact.
