How to Run the Registry Editor in Vista
All editions of the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system include the registry, a hierarchical database that manages settings for many of the system's drivers, configuration files, user interface components and installed programs. If you want to make changes to the content of the registry, the Registry Editor utility that comes pre-installed with Windows allows you to do so. Running the Registry Editor in Windows Vista becomes a quick task once you understand the proper steps.
