The calendar function of Microsoft Office Outlook allows you to store appointments, anniversaries and other events within the program. If you wish to delete all the events stored in your Outlook 2010 calendar at once, you can switch to the list view to select every appointment and delete them all at once.
Click "Calendar" on the left side of the Outlook window.
Click the "View" tab on the Outlook ribbon menu.
Click the "Change View" button and then click "List."
Click once on any one of your calendar events on the list that appears. Then, press "Ctrl" and "A" on your keyboard. All your calendar events are highlighted.
Press the "Delete" key on your keyboard. All the events will be cleared and moved to your "Deleted items" folder.
Tips & Warnings
- If you do not wish to delete every single appointment, you can sort the list view by the category tabs at the top and only delete specific items.
- Be sure you definitely want to delete every item in your calendar before performing this procedure and that you have records of any future appointments, to avoid missing important events.
