How to Uninstall & Then Reinstall Mozilla

Mozilla Firefox is an Internet browser created by Mozilla. Mozilla Firefox is known for its many features, including search suggestions, password manager, pop-up blocker, spell checking, offline browsing and a host of available add-ons. Sometimes, if you encounter a problem with an Internet browser, uninstalling and then re-installing the browser will solve the issue. Fortunately, this can be done with Mozilla Firefox and a free tool included with the Windows operating system.

Instructions

1. Close Mozilla Firefox if it is open.

2. Click "Start," "Control Panel," "Programs" and "Programs and Features."

3. Click "Mozilla Firefox" and then click "Uninstall/Change."

4. Click "Yes" to confirm that you wish to uninstall Mozilla Firefox.

5. Go to the Mozilla Firefox Homepage and click "Free Download." Follow the prompts to install Mozilla Firefox.
