How to Make Rolled Beeswax
Beeswax is the naturally-produced wax created by honey bees, and is often used in candle making because it burns cleanly and does not drip as readily as paraffin. You can create rolled candles out of beeswax sheets, which do not require any heating in order to make the candles. You can purchase beeswax sheets at any arts and crafts supply store.

1
Cut a 6-by-8 inch rectangle out of a beeswax sheet. You can use a natural sheet that is a golden color, or you can use a colored beeswax sheet. Lay the sheet out flat horizontally onto a table top.
-
2
Cut a piece of cotton wick 8 inches long. Lay the cotton wick vertically along the left edge of the beeswax sheet. Place the wick so that the bottom end is flush with the bottom edge of the beeswax sheet, and allow the top of the wick to stick out of the top edge of the beeswax sheet by 2 inches.

3
Roll the beeswax sheet over the wick moving from left to right, then continue rolling up the wax sheet until the entire sheet is rolled into a candle form.
-
4
Cut out shapes from colored beeswax sheets. These shapes should be about 1-by-1 inch. You can cut out shapes like stars, hearts, butterflies or balloons.
-
5
Press the beeswax shapes around the rolled beeswax candle. The shapes will automatically stick onto the candle. Repeat the entire process to make as many rolled beeswax candles as you require.
