How to Transfer a Domain From DreamHost to GoDaddy
Starting a website often requires transferring domain names from one Web-hosting company to another. DreamHost and GoDaddy are two established companies in the domain registrar business. DreamHost has been in business for 14 years and GoDaddy for 11. They both have systems in place for managing domain transfers to and from their company. A domain transfer from DreamHost to GoDaddy is initiated by GoDaddy and the right to transfer the domain needs to be purchased from them.
