How to Get a Traffic Cone Kill in Halo 3
If your custom Spartan super soldier is in mowed down in the middle of a multiplayer match over Xbox Live by a traffic cone, you will have become one of the unluckiest "Halo 3" players ever. Killing another player with one of the abandoned traffic cones is extremely difficult and has more to do with luck than anything else. With some serious practice, you will eventually smash some poor Elite's skull in with the orange cone of death.

Obtain a high-powered weapon that exerts a large amount of force when used. You may have to search the level for one of these weapons. Some of the better weapons to try include the rocket launcher, sniper rifle or Brute gravity hammer.

Line up a shot by standing between the traffic cone and other players. Take care when using explosive weapons so you don't take damage yourself.

Fire at the traffic cone to launch it at a high velocity toward enemy players. The faster the cone travels, the more likely it will hit with enough force to kill a Spartan or Elite. If the cone bounces off a player, you need to find a way to apply more force to the cone to launch it harder.

Scoring a kill with a traffic cone is extremely difficult to do, so have patience and try as many techniques as you can think of to launch cones higher and faster.
