The photos you upload from your cell phone will be stored in the "Mobile Uploads" album on your Facebook profile. You can learn how to upload a picture to Facebook via text message in just a few steps.

Things You'll Need

  • MMS-capable phone
  • Open your Web browser and visit the Facebook mobile settings page (facebook.com/mobile/?settings).

  • Log in to your Facebook account with your username and password.

  • Click the "Register for Facebook Text Messages" link in the "Activate a Phone" section.

  • Select your country and your mobile carrier from the provided drop-down boxes, then click "Next."

  • Create a new text message on your phone and send it to 32665 (FBOOK). In a few minutes, you will receive a text message reply from Facebook containing a confirmation code. Enter that code into the "Confirmation code" box and click next. Your phone is now registered with Facebook.

  • Upload photos to Facebook by creating a picture text message on your phone. Send the message to the same Facebook number used in Step 5: 32556 (FBOOK). The photo will be added to your "Mobile Uploads" album.
