How to Make Accented Spanish Words
If you have a typical English keyboard and you want to write Spanish words, you might find that you have some difficulty doing so because accented Spanish letters are not found on an English keyboard. This doesn't mean that you need to buy a Spanish keyboard to write in Spanish. There are a number of keyboard shortcuts you can use that add accents to Spanish letters.

Double-click the Microsoft Word icon on your desktop or in your Start menu to open a new document.

Click your cursor on the page to begin typing. Leave your cursor at the point where you want to insert a special character.

Click "Symbol" in the "Symbols" group, under the "Insert" tab.

Click "More Symbols."

Scroll through the list until reaching the accented Spanish letter you want to insert.

Click "Insert." Repeat this process as many times as necessary.
