How to Poach and Shred Chicken
Poached chicken involves cooking the poultry in a pot of water. After you poach the chicken, it shreds easily into small pieces when you pull it apart by hand or with two forks. Use shredded chicken to make chicken tacos, add it to chili or create a healthy stir fry. Poach as much chicken as you desire and freeze any remaining leftovers to use later.
