How to Clean Mold Off Glass

Mold often grows on areas of glass that remain damp for periods of time.

Surfaces that are exposed to moisture and warm conditions often become hosts to mold. Mold belongs to the fungus family and can irritate allergies and asthma in many individuals. If you have mold on a glass surface, take steps to remove it as soon as possible. You can remove mold on glass surfaces quite easily since these surfaces are not porous. You also can use a gentle household ingredient that won't put a damper on your budget.

Things You'll Need

• Spray bottle
• Vinegar
• Sponge
• Lint-free cloth

Instructions

1. Fill a clean spray bottle with white vinegar.

2. Spray the glass surface with the vinegar and leave it to air dry.

3. Wet a cleaning sponge with vinegar and use it to wipe down the glass surface.

4. Dry the surface with a lint-free cloth to prevent streaks.
