How to Personalize a Twitter Wallpaper
While many people choose to focus just on the content of their Twitter feeds, there are benefits to spending a bit of time on the way it looks. A customized profile background, also called a wallpaper, can help people recognize your business brand and give people a feel for what your feed has to offer. You can personalize or customize your Twitter profile in several ways, using some basic design tools included within the Twitter platform.

Log in to your Twitter account. Click "Profile" at the top of the page.

Click "Edit your profile" above the Timeline. Click "Design" at the top of the following page.

Play around with the various options for customizing your theme. Click "Select a theme" to choose one of the predesigned templates that Twitter provides. If you like the template but you want to use different colors, click "Change design colors" at the bottom of the page, then click on the color boxes that follow to change the colors of the various features of your profile. To use a custom logo or photo for your background, click "Change background image." Click "Browse" to select an image from the files on your computer. To make the same image repeat multiple times, click "Change background image," and then click "Tile background."

Click "Save Changes" when you've created a background you like.
