How to Export a Calendar From Outlook

Outlook is an email client developed and marketed by Microsoft. Outlook, like most other email clients, allows you to share tasks and appointments in a calendar. You can export your Outlook calendar for backup purposes. You can save the calendar on your had disk or an external storage device as a .PST file. You may also want to export your Outlook calendar if you wish to transfer it to another email client. Regardless of your intentions, you can export the calendar using Outlook's built-in wizard. Note that you may need administrative rights to complete this task.

      Click the Start menu and point to "All Programs." Click the folder that says "Microsoft Office." Click to launch "Microsoft Office Outlook."

      Click the "File" tab and choose "Import and Export." This will open a new wizard.

      Choose "Personal Folder File (.pst)" for export file type. Click "Next."
