How to Tweet a Link on Twitter
Twitter is a social networking website that thrives on the brevity of 140 characters. The network helps distribute information quickly to relative parties, while keeping it short and informative (that's the idea anyway, it still depends on the user.) A common practice is linking your readers to other websites, so that if they're interested in reading more about what you're doing or spending time with, they can follow up with a link you provide.

Tips & Warnings
Posting a full link is considered bad form and will often use a lot of characters. To circumvent this, you can use URL shortening services to reduce the number of characters while still providing a link (see Resources.)
