Instructions for Wrap Pants
Wrap pants are essentially the front and back panels of a pair of pants that are sewn together at the inseam but are not attached at the waist or around the legs until properly tied together at the waist. They are usually made of thin, airy cotton -- perfect for warm summer days. These pants look great on many body types, but can be confusing for the inexperienced wearer. A few simple steps will have you tied up and ready to go within minutes.

Wearing the Pants
-
1
Open the wrap pants flat and lay them on the floor or a bed with the inner inseam (the side that will touch your skin) facing up. If a tag is attached along the waistline, this is the back panel -- but the front and back are essentially the same. The waistline of the front and back panels will each have two straps for tying.
-
2
Pick up the front panel by the two straps and hold it in your left hand, then pick up the back panel with your right. Hold the pants at waist level and step your right foot between the panels so that the inseam is between your legs. Your right hand should now be at your lower back and your left should be at your belly button.

Release the back panel straps from your right hand, then reach forward and take one of the front straps in each hand. Check to make sure that the fabric is not twisted.
-
4
Wrap the front panel straps around your waist and tie them at the small of your back. The front of your body will now be covered.
-
5
Reach down to the floor behind you and pick up the back panel straps. Make sure this panel is not twisted as you wrap the straps around your waist to meet in the front of your body. Tie the straps at your belly button, then look in the mirror to admire your pants.

Tips & Warnings
Some people prefer to tie the back panel first so that the front panel is on top, opening backwards.
The ankles of the pants can also be tied for added closure, at the ankles or higher on the leg to create a shorter length.
Always check to make sure that the fabric is not twisted as you are tying the pants to ensure that you have full coverage.
