      Hang a calendar in a conspicuous location. Mark the date of the anniversary, then move back two weeks and mark another date "Upcoming Anniversary --- Mom". This will give you time to shop for the right gift.

      Enter the date into your cell phone, computer and email calenders. Set the programs to remind you of the event one week before and 24 hours before. This will allow you plenty of time to shop in case you missed you calendar reminder. The 24-hour reminder will prevent you from forgetting to deliver the gift on the right date.
