How to Change Your Character on "Key Quest"
"Key Quest" is one of the many activities that you can choose in the "Neopets" virtual world. In many ways similar to a conventional board game, "Key Quest" is a game for two to four players involving dice rolling, chance, special bonus squares and mini-game challenges. Within the game the player is represented by a character token that he chooses the first time he plays. Changing characters is a little tricky, and requires some work inside and outside the game.

Purchase a "Neopets" plushie or trading card pack. These are no longer availiable directly from the "Neopets" websites, so you will have to purchase one from an online seller: This is done most straightforwardly through eBay. You will need the "Key Quest" code, which is written on a card that comes with the product. You will need one that has not been used; be sure that the seller can offer a guarantee of this.

Go to the "Neopets" website (see Resources) and log in. Click on "Games" in the menu bar across the top of the screen, and click on "Key Quest". In the box labelled "Redeem Key Quest Code," enter the code from the plushie or trading card pack you purchased and click "Redeem Your Prize."

Go to the "Key Quest" game and go to the "Options" page. Click "Collectors Case" to see the character tokens you have available. Click on the new token that has appeared and click on the box next to the option for "Key Quest Quick List."

Join or start a new game of "Key Quest." The new character token will be offered to you to play with alongside the other character you were playing with. Click it and you will have changed your character.
