How to Create a TypePad
Blogs are user-created sites that can house either personal information, information about ideas or information for a group. For example, your blog can be about your child growing up, or tips on cooking shrimp. If you are new to creating blogs, you may want to use a blog website like TypePad. To create a TypePad blog, you must first register for their site.

Navigate to the TypePad website.

Click the "Start Your Free Trial Now" button on the right side of the page.

Click "Sign Up" on the plan you wish to start a free trial of. As of this publication, there are three plans, ranging in price from $9 to $30. At the end of the trial, you will be billed per month, so remember to cancel the trial if TypePad is not to your liking.

Enter your email address, password, display name, blog URL and gender in the fields provided. Click "Create Account".

Enter your billing information. Click "Next".

Verify all the information is correct and click "Finish".

Select a design for your blog. You can select one of TypePad's premade designs or import your own.

Select "New Post" and write your first blog post. Once posted, your TypePad blog will be available for all to view.
